Tim Longhurst is one of Australia's most recognised futurists and is a sought after commentator on both broadcast and print media. Drawing on research and case-studies from around the world, Tim's presentations demonstrate that the future has arrived - it's just not evenly distributed yet.
Tim is Director of Longhurst Research, a boutique consultancy firm; and Director of Strategy for Getup, Australia's largest political organisation.
As a consultant, much of Tim's work has involved innovating with some of the world's most recognised brands, including Nokia, Unilever, Vodafone and Fuji Xerox.
As a keynote speaker, Tim inspires his audiences to become innovators in their fields. He uses real-life examples of how organisations around the world are innovatively engaging their stakeholders.
Tim sparks conversations around change and innovation wherever he goes - he has addressed audiences from 2 to 2,000 and has spoken at both internal workshops and international conferences.
Tim is a member of the World Futures Society and the Australian Futures Foundation. He is an associate member of the National Speakers Association Australia and a member of the International Federation for Professional Speakers.
As a professional speaker, Tim has a firm commitment to the NSAA Code of Professional Conduct.
Tim keeps a blog of case studies, stories and events. When clients or audiences request resources, when possible these are posted on the blog to widen the conversation.
